On foot of an executive order issued at the beginning of the month, from 29 August all goods entering the USA now have taxes applied, the previous exemption which applied to goods below the value of $800 no longer applies.
For US-based customers buying IMC books on our website, please be advised that the new US taxes will have to be paid before the book can be delivered. Your tax will not be applied when you buy the book, it will be applied by the Irish postal service (An Post) when we post your book.
This tax has nothing to do with us. It is a tax applied by the current American administration to goods purchased by Americans outside of America.
