Description

T/1834/1 Copy of a journal relating the English military campaign in Portugal, 1810-1811. The journal makes occasional references to women. For instance, 'I heard that a Lady formerly in the Regt. (Mrs. K.) had been rather friendly! and obliging! to Capt. Frier 25th Regt. and that she had had a Picquinini! before K. met her!!', 11 January 1811.

T/1834/2 Genealogical notes on the Arnnot family, Ballycarn South, County Down, taken from the family bible, 1805-1808. The date of compilation is not noted.
