The volume includes brief notes on marriage portions in the land indenture and notes on the tenants of the estate, including several women. For example: Anne Elwood 'holds 137 acres in the lower halfe of the Townland of the Grange...Tis a well improved and inclosed Farme. They pay for the Bog as much p[er] acre as for the other land.' |
