Description

Folder including 9 letters on the relationship of the Sisters of Saint Mary's Training College, Belfast, with the Convent and Order of Dominicans, 14 March 1933-6 July 1934. For example:
A letter from Bishop Mageean to Mother-Prioress-General, which states, 'I cannot see that having the Training College subject to three different authorities, the local Convent, the Bishop of the Diocese and the General Council, is good either for the Convent or the College. The most satisfactory solution to my mind, and I suggest it with all respect, would be to have the Training College a Community subject, like any other local Community of the Dominican Sisters, to the General Council', 6 July 1934.
