| Description | Women's Meeting Minutes of the Leinster Quarterly Meetings, 1852-1879 (with gaps). The minutes contain the list of representatives from the six districts, Moate, Mountmellick, Edenderry, Carlow, County Wexford and Dublin, attending the Quarterly Meeting. Queries were read to the meetings and the answers, received from the Monthly Meetings, were transcribed into the minutes, appointment of committees to visit the provincial schools for the following year, appointment of the committees, from Men and Women Quarterly Meetings, to visit the Monthly Meetings in the province during following year, references made to epistles received by the Quarterly Meeting, these are not transcribed, proceedings of the previous Quarterly Meeting read and certificates received from Monthly Meetings liberating friends to visit the Quarterly Meetings. Towards the end of the volume, the minutes become more brief and make references only to what has been discussed in the course of the meetings, 1 volume. |
