Mrs Mary Synott, Compensation Claim:
Despatch from the Duke of Devonshire to T.M. Healy, Governor General, informing him that the Admiralty had received a claim for compensation from Mrs Mary Anne Synott, of Dunkitt, near Waterford, in respect of the death of her husband, John Synott, formerly a hired labourer at his majesty's dockyard, Rosyth. The Admiralty were anxious to establish whether Mrs Synott was dependent on her husband, 15 October 1923.
