7: The King to the Earl of Arran, Lord Deputy, asking for a report on petition of Mary, formerly wife to William Sarsfield of Lucan, now wife to William ffenshaw. Arran to inform whether Theophilius Jones hath not passed letters patents for £800 [?] a year, to give particular account of the whole state of the affair. Declares the grants made to Jones of concealed lands in recompense for Manor of Lucan and likewise all favours granted to William Sarsfield were done for the benefit of said Mary and her children by said William and on William's promise to settle £800 a year fortune on his wife and his whole estate bought of Sir Theophilius Jones on the children she should bear him, 27 February 1683/4.
