City Factory, Derry, Papers:
A register of young persons employed in the City Factory, which lists name and address of the employee, the date of their first employment, their parents names, their date of birth and signature of a certifying surgeon and containing the names of numerous female employees, January 1902-April 1922. The register also contains details of holidays and half holidays given, 1902-1919.

2 scrapbooks, one dating from the mid 19th Century-20th Century and the other dating from the 20th Century which include numerous advertisements, programmes of events and press cuttings relating to the factory, samples of stitching work and photographs of factory outings and of working procedures showing women stitching, assembling garments, ironing, seated at machinery, clipping and examining shirts, a woman at sewing machine putting in a button hole in a shirt cuff, women pressing shirt collars, overlocking etc. These photographs date from the early 20th Century-1970s.
