Schools and Education I General:

1: Numbers of pupils in Kilmore diocese. List of the numbers of pupils on the roll between 1912 and 1938 with relative figures from the dioceses of Clogher (1925-1937) and Meath (1927, 1937). Also analysis of numbers of pupils in Cavan and Leitrim, the percentage of attendance and the numbers of Catholics between 1927 and 1937. 1912-1938.

2: Examination results: Teachers. Results of teacher training examinations (candidates are nuns from schools in the diocese). 1917.

3: Educational Burses. Papers about educational burses left to the diocese including correspondence, stock receipts and extracts from wills. 1950-1971.

Primary Schools:
9: Proposed introduction of teaching nuns, Manorhamilton. Letter and petition from Sean Mac Polin, secretary of the committee for the Introduction of a teaching order of Religious Sisters to Manorhamilton, to Bishop Quinn seeking the introduction of nuns to Manorhamilton Girls' National School. 1951-1952.

Secondary Schools:
10: Proposed girls' secondary school, Manorhamilton. Mainly letters to Bishop Quinn from Monsignor Nolan, PP, Cloonclare, John Drumm, secretary of the Committee Interested n Secondary Education concerning the establishment of a secondary school for girls which would be run by a teaching order of nuns. 1955.
