Includes a number of items, mainly legal papers, relating to female members of the Doyne family, their relatives, tenants and associates. For example, a deed relating to the protection of Deborah Doyne's jointure, 1748 [15]; a mortgage from Robert Doyne to Jane Helsham, widow, of lands in Tullow, County Carlow, 1748 [16], and a further mortgage on the Doyne estate to Jane Helsham, 1751 [20]; administration of the will of Deborah Doyne, Dublin, widow, 1775 [33]; several marriage settlements, including those of Robert Doyne and Mrs Uniack of Woodhouse, Waterford, 1805 [42], of Rev. Arthur Vesey and Mrs Sydney Johnston, 1811 [47], and of Robert Doyne and Sarah Pratt, 1834 [79]; will of Mrs Selina Doyne, Newtownpark, Blackrock, 1864 [120]; agreement fixing judicial rent between D M Doyne and Sarah Caldbeck, Tullow, 1905 [178]; miscellaneous receipts of Kathleen Doyne, 1938-1939 [239].
