Description

Two letters from Mary MacSwiney to Austin Stack, 21 November and the 8 December 1923. She discusses release conditions and the gravity and responsibility of the hunger strikes and also that those taking part realise the necessity to face the end. Stack has indicated that he would like to come off the strike. Second letter written after the end of the hungerstrike and she hopes for an early release of the prisoners.
