10. 50 letters from W.B. Yeats to Ethel Mannin, March 1935-December 1938. The subjects covered in this correspondence include 'A Vision', which he said contains his `private philosophy', his translation of the Upanishads; his play entitled 'The Herne's Egg'; the forthcoming presentation of Sean O'Casey, 'The Plough and the Stars' in the Abbey Theatre; his publication of 'On the Boiler', which he said would contain his views on social politics in so far as they affected Ireland, the current Irish and European political scene generally; and the progress of his last play, 'The Death of Cuchulain'. In the course of his letter dated August 1938 he conveys that he is arranging to be buried in Drumcliffe, and then gives his epitaph. In his letter dated November 1936 he deals with his poem on Roger Casement.
